Clara Rodríguez is a senior associate at G-advisory and holds a degree in Marine Science from Universidad de Cádiz and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Management from EOI. She has extensive experience in technical, environmental and social due diligence processes, analyses of environmental and social compliance with performance standards of the International Finance Corporation and Equator Principles, environmental audits and environmental risk analyses, in Spain and Latin America, as well as in renewable energy generation projects, hydropower plants, photovoltaic and thermosolar plants, wind farms and power lines. She has partaken in various sustainable finance projects and in issuing over 50 Second Opinion reports in accordance with market standards for sustainable finance, in the context of corporate loans, project finance and bond issues.
As part of her prior experience, Clara has extensive knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and strategic assessments (SAs) of projects relating to hydrocarbons, mining, renewable energy, power lines and other industrial developments projects in Spain, Colombia, Uruguay, Panama, Libya, Egypt, Algeria, Qatar, Angola and Armenia. She has been involved in designing baseline marine campaigns and marine environment monitoring in Africa and South America and in marine life R&D&i projects at the domestic and international levels.
