G-advisory article published in RETEMA: socio-economic and environmental impacts of urban waste-to-energy programs

After drafting a report on the above-mentioned impacts for AEVERSU (Spanish Association of Urban Solid Waste-to-Energy Companies) in October 2015 and preparing an analogous detailed report on the impacts of the future CMG-I (Guipúzcoa Environmental Complex – Phase I) in June 2016, G advisory’s team of professionals has collaborated with the review RETEMA (Technical Environmental Review) to publish an article analyzing, from a global perspective, both the socio-economic and the environmental impacts associated with the urban waste-to-energy sector in Spain and Andorra.

The review RETEMA has a track record of over 30 years dedicated mainly to the environmental sector. The article can be consulted in issue no. 197 of the review (March – April 2017). This issue is devoted almost entirely to the waste sector, one of the main focuses of attention of the review.
