Jorge López

Jorge López is a Senior Associate at G-advisory. Jorge has 8 years of work experience in environmental and sustainability matters for different companies and sectors. In the area of consulting, he has developed sustainability master plans, carbon footprint projects, application of environmental and reporting regulations (CSRD), as well as participation in sustainable financing, technical-environmental and ESG due diligence projects. During his career at SURUS, he has been responsible for the execution of projects such as sustainable decommissioning of industrial and energy facilities with focus on asset recovery, circular economy and waste management. Jorge was the Head of the Sustainability Department since 2021 and led the company’s Sustainability Strategy, representing it at different international congresses and summits.

Jorge is an Agro-environmental Engineer and holds a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering from the UPM. He obtained a scholarship to study the Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering at Cranfield University (UK). In addition, he has a Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention from UNIR (occupational safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics and applied psychosociology).
