G-advisory advises Sonnedix in the acquisition of 12 photovoltaic plants
In recent months, G-advisory, the Garrigues Group’s consultancy subsidiary, advised the independent solar power producer Sonnedix in its acquisition of 12 PV plants.
Sonnedix, which is majority-held by institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management, has brought its installed capacity to 46.7MW, making it the largest solar PV player in Spain.
The deal covered the six Summa Project plants (located in Badajoz, Albacete and Cuenca), the two plants at the Portichuelo and Ollería project in Valencia, and the Madrigal (Ávila), La Cubla (Jaén), Olivenza (Badajoz) and Puig Gros (Lleida) plants.
Through the deal, Sonnedix shored up its European growth strategy and underscored its long-term commitment to the Spanish market.
