Luis Cabrera, ESG director of G-advisory, reelected as chairman of the National Association of Energy Service Companies (ANESE)

Last Friday, ANESE (National Association of Energy Service Companies) held its general assembly of members at which the members voted on the new leadership board. Luis Cabrera, ESG director of G-advisory, was reelected as chairman for another three-year term.

It marks the second time that Luis Cabrera has been reelected to the position that he first took up in June 2018, as the representative for CBRE. His was the only candidature in this election process.

During the assembly, Luis Cabrera insisted on the importance of continuing to seize this exciting moment for the industry, with noteworthy regulatory developments, such as energy savings certificates, which will give an unprecedented boost to the energy efficiency market. “At ANESE we remain convinced that energy services are and will continue to be the main driver of the energy efficiency sector and specifically of decarbonization of the economy, since thanks to its projects carbon emissions are reduced. In this regard, it plays a leading and essential role in bringing about a low-emission global economy that achieves climate neutrality,” noted the G-advisory director.

To wrap up the assembly, Luis Cabrera thanked the new members of the leadership board who will join him in this new phase, noting once again that “we continue to have an exciting moment ahead, with a legislative landscape that is favorable to driving the market even further.”
