The Humboldt portfolio financing round kicks off in Chile, with technical advice from G-advisory
G-advisory has acted as technical adviser for the Humboldt portfolio in Chile, developed by Mainstream Renewable Power, which this week launched its financing round. The Garrigues group’s consulting arm, acting as independent engineering consultant, is tasked with ensuring the viability of the project for potential investors.
The portfolio consists of two renewable energy projects that will begin construction in 2022: the 220 MW Entre Ríos wind farm located in the Biobío region, and the Tata Inti PV plant, which will have an installed capacity of 80 MW and an energy storage system. Both projects will feed power into the Chilean National Electricity System, helping increase the presence of renewable energies in the Chilean energy mix. The estimated investment for these projects is US$ 560 million.
